And Soon...

WFF 10 Day 3.

Again, not a lot of time for photos.

Delivering and picking up films in the Bucky Trucky on Saturday morning:

It's lugging films up the last flight of stairs at the Orpheum Main that'll knock you on your butt:

UW alum, filmmaker, future film scholar and all-around cool dude Aaron Granat:

The pause that refreshes:

Some time after this, we took our students to see Shotgun Stories, but no photos. Ran into people, including a couple (Jen and Kate) I haven't seen in a long, long while. Most of the students seemed to dig the film, which was good. See it if you get the chance.

Near the end of the night, I got to see most of Stuck, which makes three films total for me during the fest, which is somewhat indulgent. Great to see it with an audience that got into the film, shouting, ewing, cheering, and so on. Afterwards, director and UW alum Stuart Gordon took the stage for some Q&A.

Peter Etzweiler, who kept the show running at the Orpheum, is there on the right in the second shot. A great guy who knows how to keep things running smoothly.

And finally, from a little bit before that, well, there's some folks working long hours behind the scenes, before, during and after the festival without whom the festival would not happen.

Here's two of those folks, Mr. Gunneson (L) and Mr. Block (R) taking a well-earned breather late on Saturday, on the steps of the Union:

Wish I'd thought to get shots of all the projectionists. Those dudes and dudettes were vital too.

Okay, that's it for now. A few pics from the last day to follow.
